Rain Rain and some more Rain

Well guess what ... it is still raining here in Cameroon, we have had maybe a few hours in between the days where the rain has stopped, however yesterday when I woke up it was raining and the rain didn't stop.

Last night it came down with a vengance and it is still raining this morning, and it is flooding everywhere. I managed to get some pics which I am sure will be a familiar site to some of you in South Africa, especially in Cape Town where I have seen the one river there flood ... every year :)







The pic above and below is the part of the road we normally take to work, I unfortunately missed a guy pushing his motorbike through this, the water was up to his seat. Some 4x4's however took this as a day to go and play and then some others who would still try their luck to get through here ...









Not sure if this is actually helping .... the cheap taxi's (motorbikes) get their passengers to hold an umbrella as well ... some are clever enough to use a full on Poncho type rain coat.
